Second Hand Bookshop
.

A fun way to find great bargains while expanding your own book collection is by visiting our Second Hand Book Shop.
The Skidompha Second Hand Book Store offers a variety of previously owned books for your reading enjoyment.
Make your way through this funky shop to find books about every subject imaginable. This is a treasure trove for serious and not-so-serious readers, filled to the rafters with books that should be read many times more than once.

There are fiction and nonfiction hardbacks and paperbacks, magazines, dictionaries, matched sets of beautiful old books, first editions, rare books, books for mystery fans, children, cooks, gardeners, and on and on.
Co-managed by Rosie and Gary Benson, Janice Lindsay and Rem Briggs, and staffed by an all-volunteer team, the shop contains over 10,000 volumes. All proceeds benefit the Skidompha Public Library.
And why not consider donating some of your older titles to a good cause? Earnings from sales of second-hand books go directly to the library’s operating budget.
Open from 10 to 4, Monday through Friday and from 10 to 1 on Saturdays, the Second Hand Book Shop is staffed by Library volunteers who can answer your questions and direct you through the shop, once a 19th century carriage house.
Surely the book you want is hidden here in plain sight! And your search for it will be as much fun as finding it!
